Ding states that Taiwan affairs shall be promoted through the following three ways: 1) Focus on economy and trade with Taiwan; 2) Improve arrangements for receiving compatriots from Taiwan; and 3) Promote academic, cultural, sports, and technological exchanges between the two sides of the strait.
